Accessibility statement
We build accessible products for our clients, so it would be odd if our own site were not. Here is where we stand, honestly.
Our commitment
inico DIGITAL is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. Accessibility and digital literacy shape our design decisions from the first sketch rather than being checked at the end.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this site. We test with keyboard navigation, screen readers, browser zoom and automated tooling, and we fix what we find.
Display settings built into this site
Select the accessibility button in the header — the icon of a person with outstretched arms — to open a panel where you can change how this site behaves. Your choices are saved in your browser on this device only, and are not sent to us.
- Theme. Light, dark, or follow your operating system setting.
- Text size. Standard, large or larger, scaling the whole page proportionally.
- Higher contrast. Strengthens text and border contrast throughout.
- Reduce motion. Turns off animation and movement. We also respect your operating system's reduced-motion setting automatically.
- Readable font. Switches to Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for low vision readers, with looser letter and line spacing.
- Underline links. Adds an underline to every link so they do not rely on colour alone.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with proper landmarks, headings and lists throughout.
- A skip link to jump straight to the main content.
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Full keyboard operability, including the menu, accessibility panel and cookie banner.
- Text and interface colours that meet AA contrast ratios in both light and dark themes.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields with visible, correctly associated labels and helpful hints.
- Links that open in a new tab are announced as doing so.
- Content reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 px and at 400% zoom.
- Status messages announced politely to screen reader users.
Known limitations
We would rather tell you than have you discover it yourself:
- Embedded map. The Google Maps embed on our contact page is third-party content and we cannot control its accessibility. Our full address and email are available as text on the same page, so no information is only available via the map.
- Older documents. Some PDFs published before 2024 may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need one of these in an accessible format, ask us and we will provide it.
Compatibility
This site is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, and has been checked with VoiceOver and NVDA. It should also work with screen magnifiers, speech recognition software and browser reading modes.

Tell us what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We aim to respond within 24 business hours and to fix genuine barriers quickly.
Enforcement
If you contact us with a complaint about accessibility and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland, or the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) if you are elsewhere in the UK.

The same standards apply to the platforms we build for others. Accessibility testing is part of our delivery process rather than an optional extra, and we are happy to talk through what that means in practice for your project.
